Magellan LifeResources: specialized services including:

• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Paid Time Off:  Eight paid holidays and two paid floating holidays for all employees, plus 18 days of paid time off for those with one to five years of service with Magellan; paid time off increases with tenure.

Adoption Assistance:  Reimbursement up to $2,500 per child to cover some of the costs of legal adoption, such as adoption agency fees, placement fees, legal expenses, maternity fees for the child's natural mother (not covered through medical expenses) and temporary foster care or emergency housing.

Educational Assistance: Reimbursement up to $2,500 annually for development opportunities including continuing education, licensures, certifications, memberships and tuition.

Magellan Spirit Team Volunteer Program: an employee-run volunteer program focused on giving back to the community, creating a preferred workplace, raising awareness about matters of diversity and celebrating employees.  Recent team initiatives include food drives, school supply drives, disaster relief, supporting military troops, scholarship programs, service anniversary program, and much more.

Parent Coaching Program: offers new parents consultation, resources and ongoing support to help ease the transition into parenthood and then back into the workforce.

Telecommuting: working from home either on a part-time or full-time basis is an option for many Magellan employees depending on job function and requirements.
