Erik Daugherty

Erik Daugherty serves as the interim chief financial officer of Magellan Health. In this role, he leads all finance functions across all Magellan’s markets and shared services organizations. Daugherty also oversees all business finance functions including financial management, pricing/underwriting, medical economics, accounting and strategic planning.

Since joining Magellan in 2012, Daugherty has provided strong financial leadership to the health plan and employer markets, in addition to previously supporting shared services.

Prior to joining Magellan, Daugherty held numerous finance roles at Cigna across their healthcare and international divisions. He is a graduate of their Financial Development Program.

Daugherty earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the College of New Jersey and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
